Our Work
Vacation PA
Vacationpa.com is the online home of the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau (LCVB). In 2018, the LCVB decided to move away from their existing site to a new site that was easy to update and, more importantly, easy to use. The team at The Graphic Hive produced a pleasing, modern user experience (UX) which we built on an update-friendly content management system (CMS). The new vacationpa.com has seen remarkable increases in impressions, search queries and click-through-rate (CTR) leading to increased visibility of the LCVB.
Lyco the LumberJack
Lyco The Lumberjack was an interesting development. During the initial discovery phase of working with the Lycoming County Visitors Center we had a hard time trying to package all of the great tourism assets that Lycoming County has to offer. We came up with a lovable, blue collar concierge called Lyco the Lumberjack as a vehicle to better organize the tourism assets and also tell a story. This fun-loving cartoon character is adaptable and can change based on the season or activity. He also ties into the lumber heritage that Lycoming County was once known for. Let Lyco be your guide for everything Lycoming County.

Visit Potter Tioga
For Potter and Tioga Counties, we were involved in a unique merger/new brand and tagline development initiative. We worked with the integration committee to come up with an agreeable name, various taglines and marketing ideas for the new entity. Alongside the re-marketing work, we handled the development of a new website that featured custom directory management system and a custom hotel/lodging availability utility that combined the tourism assets of both counties. This massive project was our first tourism oriented website, but we were able to complete all of the directives on-time and within budget. Due to the success of our partnership, we have formed a lasting relationship that will continue for many years.
Here is actual client testimonial from the Visit Potter-Tioga project:
Working with The Graphic Hive has been wonderful. John and Jake took our website wish-list and made it a reality. We launched on time and have received many positive comments from our stakeholders. Ours was the first destination website the team has done, and I have to say I’m very impressed. Their professionalism and creativity have made this process and enjoyable one.
– Lori Copp
With respect to the privacy of marketing initiatives and ideas and the competitive nature of tourism facilities, The Graphic Hive has already executed a Non-Disclosure agreement with Visit Potter – Tioga and will need to complete one with the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau to ensure that trade secrets and any planning initiatives stay confidential between only the client and our production team. We take client confidentiality very seriously and work with a number of similar businesses but keep their initiatives under wraps until they are ready to launch or be made publicly available. Lori Copp has asked that if we are awarded a contract with the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau that we build a site that looks different from the Visit Potter – Tioga site.
